Coach Kyle works with all ages, genders, and sizes. The only thing he asks of you is pure dedication and an open mind. If you want to see unbelievable and unimaginable improvement in your game - bring these two key ingredients and Coach Kyle and his staff will help you progress to your dreams!

Individual work will follow a strict A to Z development program designed by Coach Kyle himself. Individual offensive work will include the players being taught the fundamental and advanced skill work in ball handling, passing, rebounding, lay-ups, runners/floaters, shooting, separation moves, 1 on 1 moves for guards and bigs, attack reads, penetration breakdown moves, reading defenders and making different cuts, and playing out of 2 man games. Individual defensive work will teach players to learn on ball techniques, containing penetration, defensive angles, jumping off ball, form slides, closeouts, charges, steal positions, and challenges with block outs. Ball screen work will be taught with combination groups.

Team Training

Want to see GIGANTIC progress from your youth, AAU, or school basketball team in an hour? Coach Kyle and his Learn To Be A Pro staff will come run your practice for you! In this powerful hour Coach Kyle will put your team, regardless of age, through the most disciplined detailed practice you have ever seen. He has extensive experience having coached and worked at every level of basketball from youth all the way to the NBA Dallas Mavericks so he will be able to adjust your team practice accordingly.

Team practice will be run like a Division I college practice in terms of developing the player on both sides of the ball…. individually and within the team setting. Individual offensive work will include the young players being taught the fundamental and advanced skill work in ball handling, passing, rebounding, lay-ups, runners/floaters, shooting, separation moves, 1 on 1 moves, attack reads, penetration breakdown moves, reading defenders and making different cuts, and playing out of 2 man games. Individual defensive work will teach players to learn on ball techniques, containing penetration, defensive angles, jumping off ball, form slides, closeouts, charges, steal positions, and challenges with blockouts. The Team offensive work will focus on screening – (setting the defender up, reading the defense, and the actual angle of setting a screen), spacing so we don’t crowd other teammates, movement without the ball, making reads the defense gives you, cuts, playing off of other teammates, offense vs man to man defense, and then offense vs zone defenses. Team defensive work will cover positioning on and off the ball, rotations from weak side, check downs, rebounding, scrambles, closeouts, doubles, all defensive man to man principles, and all defensive zone principals.

We know there just are not enough hours in a day and/or you just don’t have enough experience in the basketball field to give your team the BEST! That is ok and that is why we are here to help. Trust me, if I needed my car worked on I would not attempt to do it myself. I would seek advice from the most experienced mechanic out there.
